MERCHANT ACCOUNT OPTIONS & REQUIREMENTS
 

There are various options available for a U.S. Company owned by a Non U.S. Resident / Citizen to setup a merchant account and payment gateway. {1} US Domestic Merchant Account with top US Merchant Providers (Required: a US Person as a Guarantor)

This is probably the best merchant account option for a U.S. Company.

* Allow you to use Authorize.net
* Linked to a US Bank Account
* Currency: USD ($)

Terms, Conditions & Requirements:
1. The company must provide a US Person (Citizen or Resident) with a Social Security Number (SS#) and a solid credit score to be the guarantor to the account in case the account will be in default.

2. The company must have a US Bank Account to enable the merchant account deposit the proceeds to.

3. Merchant Account Application  and information about the business for the due diligence process as listed above.

4. Supporting Documents: Certificate of Incorporation, EIN Confirmation Letter, Guarantor's Photo ID (Driving License / Passport) and SS#.

 

1. The company must provide a US Person (Citizen or Resident) with a Social Security Number (SS#) and a solid credit score to be the guarantor to the account in case the account will be in default.


2. The company must have a US Bank Account to enable the merchant account deposit the proceeds to.

 

 
 
 
         
 

{2} PayPal (U.S.) - PayPal for business and nonprofits (Standard)

You may link your PayPal Account to one of the following options:

{4} Offshore Merchant Account (Multi Currency)

* Estimated discount fees available (range ~4%-6%)

* Provides online platform compatible with Authorize.net

* Linked to a Bank Account outside the US (the company may be required to open an account in a European Country and/ or register a company in an EU country based on the merchant requirement).

* Currency: Multi Currency - USD ($), EURO and any available currency you choose.
 

Terms, Conditions & Requirements:
1. Merchant Account Application  and information about the business for the due diligence process as listed above.

2. Supporting Documents: Certificate of Incorporation and beneficiary owner's identification documents. 

4. Advantage: Current Merchant Provider History showing past processing and low chargeback percentage.
 
This option is suitable for a Non US Resident owned US LLC or Corporation without a US Business Bank Account. this option is suitable should you need a multi currency merchant account to enable charge your clients in different currencies.

2. Supporting Documents: Certificate of Incorporation and beneficiary owner's identification documents.

{5} High Risk Merchant Account (Multi Currency)

Features:

* Setup Time: 1-2 weeks once you meet the terms & conditions and provide all the information required. 

* Estimated discount fees available (range ~16%)

* Provides online platform

* Linked to your domestic Bank Account outside the US (A Bank Account in your country of residence).

* Currency: Multi Currency - USD ($), EURO and any available currency you choose.

2. Supporting Documents: Certificate of Incorporation and beneficiary owner's identification documents. 

3. Advantage: Current Merchant Provider History showing past processing and low chargeback percentage.
 
This option is suitable for a Non US Resident owned US LLC or Corporation with a business or personal bank account in your country of residence. This option is suitable for a newly registered company and/or high risk business type.

{6} Belize Offshore High Risk Merchant Account (multi Currency)

 

This merchant account only accept Master Cards.

Features:
* Provided by one of the largest bank and merchant provided in Belize (Offshore country).

* Setup Time: 1-2 weeks once you meet the terms & conditions and provide all the information required.
 
* Estimated discount fees available (range ~16%).
* Provides online platform.

* Linked to your Belize Offshore Business Bank Account outside the US.

* Currency: Multi Currency - USD ($), EURO and any available currency you choose.

* Available for High Risk Businesses.
 

Terms, Conditions & Requirements:
1. Merchant Account Application  and information about the business for the due diligence process as listed above.

2. Supporting Documents: Certificate of Incorporation and beneficiary owner's identification documents. 

3. The Company may be required to register an offshore company (IBC) in Belize.

4. The company must have a Belize Bank Account to link with the Belize Merchant Account.

This option is suitable for a Non US Resident owned US LLC or Corporation with a bank account in Belize. This option is suitable for a newly registered company and/or high risk business type.

3. The Company may be required to register an offshore company (IBC) in Belize.

{7} Third Party Merchant Account (Multi Currency): Great choice for a new, small or high risk business


Getting approved for a merchant account can be very challenging. Most merchant providers require track record, history and low risk evaluation in order to open a merchant account for a new vendor. * Available for New, Small and High Risk Businesses.

* Customized checkout page: Your checkout page is fully customable and you may have the same look and feel as your website. Additionally, it can be made in the language which you prefer, according to the language of your target customers.

* Get paid directly to your business bank account: receive your funds in EUR, USD, and GBP on a weekly basis directly into your bank account. The account can be located anywhere in the world but must be under your company name.
